Our story began with a small group of friends and a combined love of travel and fine foods.

Our last foray from New Zealand shores in late 2019 had us meeting at a villa on the island of Crete in a small village on the shores of the Libyan Sea.  Dining at one of the local tavernas we were served homemade breads paired with an incredible tasting extra virgin olive oil which became the subject of much discussion and was then subsequently sourced from a nearby store to take back home.

Exploring the beautiful island of Crete led us to the picturesque village of Sitia where we later discovered we had passed through the village of Chrisopigi, the home of the extra virgin olive oil we would later import into New Zealand.

There are many awards associated with this EVOO but we are sure you will agree, just the taste of Chrisopigi Extra Virgin Olive Oil alone speaks for itself.
